Some news highlights for today 18th July 2007

They have found the bodies of the six army personnel died in the awful helicopter crash incident. The remains were found somewhere near Genting Highlands. Condolences to the family of the deceased and may Allah granted them Syurga Firdaus as a reward for their bravery and shahid.

TAM plane has crashed into the TAM building in Brazil when skidded during landing. The plane was believed to be carrying few hundreds passengers. May they be in peace, and if some of them were muslim may they be under rahmat of Allah.

While the Altantuya murder case is ongoing, I have lost interest in any of the facts and arguments as more and more I found it to be ridiculous and stupid. I am not saying Malaysia Royal Police are stupid, but I have stereotyped and assume that the stupid people controlling the police force are making stupid and blunt arrogant ways of steering this case into their favor.

DPM (Najib) has openly mentioned in one of the Islamic Forum here in KL that Malaysia is an Islamic State. That has causes a stir and few of these "intellectual" people has come out and have their own say about Malaysia status of either an Islamic or as Secular state. For me what important is that we profess and follow the ways of this deen first which has not being held as numero uno, be it we are Islamic state or not.
